We will take you to a bygone era for a special treat of teas using fine bone china at the privately owned Oak Tree Cottage. You will be able to view grand rooms at Ugbrooke Homestead and wander through the East Coasts, best gardens.

Ugbrooke Country House ~Peter and Alex Stowasser ~Historical House Visit

Enter through the large rimu doors into the grand entrance way and view the ornate pressed zinc ceiling in the breakfast room. Ugbrooke boasts a commanding yet tranquil position with view over hills and extensive vineyards to the sea.

London Hill ~Denis and Barbara Burkhart

Overlooking Lake Elterwater, London Hill Gardens contain a mixture of old established trees, new and developing gardens with magnificent views of Benmore and Mt Tapuae-O-Uenuke. Meander down the tracks or take a leisurely stroll to the lookout and take in the lake views.

Barewood ~Joe and Carolyn Ferraby

Garden of National SignificanceA classic potager features at Barewood, and brick paths edged with box and lavender divide beds of soft fruits, vegetables and flowers with old-fashioned apples and pears espaliered on iron arches. A garden planted to complement the century-old homestead with old roses encircling the verandah and prettily clambering over brick walls. A garden of national significance, plant connoisseurs will find much to inspire them.

Winterhome ~Richard and Sue MacFarlane

Winterhome features long vistas with interest at every turn and wonderful mass plantings including Mediterranean-type plants that thrive along Marlborough's east coast. Sensational Pacific Ocean outlook. This garden is structured and planted to have year-round appeal, with little regard for current garden fashion trends. This garden truly reflects the personality and passion of those who tend it.
